People are one of the most basic elements in business.

Many people seem to learn their people skills ad hoc, on the job, by following a role model (usually a more senior manager) of how to become successful in a particular business. Sometimes these skills can be based on "they" and "you" or "us" and "them" thinking. As businesses become more and more networked this type of thinking can be seriously limiting. Coaching with NLP is one way to challenge where this mind set gets in the way of performance.

How much do you rely on a familiar tried and tested style that works some of the time?

In this module you will learn the basics of coaching people to find out what they want and show them a strategy for getting what they want and align this with your business direction and goals. "People" includes your clients, colleagues, boss, team, staff, stakeholders etc.

This module includes the process of finding out where a person is now(present state); where they want to be in the long term (years) called desired direction in NLP and what is their next step (days,weeks and months) called desired goal in NLP. You will go further and learn how to show people a strategy for achieving their long term direction and short term goals and how to align their goals and directions with your business direction and goals(logical level alignment).

By the end of this module you will hav elearned and practised practical skills to enable you to :

  1. Find out precisely what your clients, colleagues, boss, team, staff, stakeholders want in sensory terms.
  2. Know what direction "they" are heading in and be able to know are "they" coming together (convergent) or pulling apart (divergent).
  3. Know where you are going in your business.
  4. Know how to align where the business is going to reduce internal friction and get maximum movement towards where you all want to be.
  5. Create strategies that enable people to be at their best more of the time.                                                                                      The workshop is designed to be experiential and exercise based, and will work with metaphors appropriate to your context. Complete all five business practitioner modules and you will receive Society of NLP certification.
